WICKET (working title) is a feature documentary film which captures a year in the life of Bboy Wicket, an internationally renowned breakdancing legend, as he gears up to be a coach of the first ever 2024 United States Olympic breaking team while navigating his identity as a newly out gay man. Featuring rich archival, present day verite, and mesmerizing dance performances, WICKET is a portrait of one man’s lifelong, obsessive commitment to his artistic passion, and his journey towards self-acceptance after 41 years in the closet.
