Impact

Our Purpose in Production Impact Funds are at the heart of PIK. Each fund provides access, resources, and opportunities to skilled storytellers from diverse backgrounds. These funds bring to life content about the most challenging issues of our time that center the most marginalized communities and ecosystems in peril. Our goal is to build an ecosystem around each project we are involved in to ensure Ripples of Impact (ROI) are long-lasting and create real, meaningful change.

Purpose in Production Funds

Our funds support creators who imagine and produce content that ignites audiences to contribute, connect, and spread compassion. In addition to supporting projects, Partners in Kind commits to an associated Impact Campaign for each project we’re involved in. Our Impact Campaigns build ecosystems around critical topics and are designed to amplify awareness and mobilize action. We partner with conscious brands, social impact leaders, prominent philanthropists, and global organizations to generate measurable ROI, which we define as “Ripples of Impact.”

PIK strives to generate robust awareness and drive visible change for the most crucial issues of our time.

Emerging
Voices

The Emerging Voices fund focuses on helping to develop the voices of new storytellers – working with film schools across the globe to seed projects by current students and recent graduates. This fund also has a 501(c)3 nonprofit component that provides grants to individuals in this category.

Underrepresented
Voices

This fund will focus on the development and financing of work by storytellers from underrepresented communities, as well as supporting projects that center the experiences of people who are Asian, Black, Latinx, Middle Eastern, Indigenous, Pacific Islander, Queer, Trans, Non-binary, and those at the intersection of any of these identities.

Every Woman’s
Voice

This fund focuses on developing projects that spotlight issues and experiences of people who identify as women, elevating diverse, compelling stories of triumph and challenge told from a female perspective.

Climate &
Environment Stories

This fund will focus on developing projects that highlight the climate crisis and stories centering the environment and nature – its plight and the plight of its inhabitants, hopeful and innovative solutions, and inspiring tales.

Mental
Health & Wellness

This fund focuses on developing projects that center the growing global mental health epidemic and focuses on inspiring solutions to ameliorate this crisis. Additionally, this fund focuses on issues in the health and wellness space – from addiction issues to spotlighting diseases and the effects of human-made disasters such as war, food scarcity, and houselessness.
