Robin Strickland is a seasoned television producer with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. Her journey began as a Research Analyst for Studios USA, where she honed her skills in tracking ratings and crafting sales presentations for syndicated talk shows like Sally Jessy Raphael, Jerry Springer, and Maury Povich.
Robin later transitioned to Development at VOOM HD Networks, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of various HD networks. Collaborating closely with the VP of Programming and Executive Producers, she defined channel mission statements, established branding concepts, and curated programming blocks. Additionally, she implemented directives from the General Manager to develop three additional genre-based channels for VOOM HD.
Following her time at VOOM HD, Robin’s career trajectory led her to diverse roles in television production. She spent time working as a Production Assistant on various unscripted reality programs, including: The Biggest Loser, America’s Got Talent, Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, and Project Runway on Bravo. She later worked as a Production Coordinator and Production Manager for notable shows such as North Woods Law on Animal Planet, Sandra Lee Restaurant Remakes on the Food Network, and American Daredevils on the History Channel, among others. She also served as Executive Producer on the documentary film: I Want My Name Back: a documentary on the original members of hip hop group the SugarHill Gang.
Robin brought her expertise to shows like Lizard Lick Towing on TruTV, Dr. Jeff Rocky Mountain Vet on Animal Planet, Yukon Vet on National Geographic Wild, and Love After Lockup on We TV, where she worked as a Coordinating Producer & Segment Producer. She later made the transition into post-production where she spent over 4 years working as a Story Producer for shows including: 90 Day Fiance and The Family Chantel on TLC, Porsha’s Family Values and Real Housewives of Potomac on Bravo.
