Alexander Cox

Alex has more than 15 years of experience in Wealth Management and has managed over $8.5 billion in client assets. His focus is targeted on the media and technology industries having worked closely with innovators and leaders in these fields.

Alex most recently served as the Team Leader for the BNY Wealth office based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. BNY is the largest custodian bank in the world with $53 trillion in assets under custody.

Prior to BNY, Alex was a Managing Director for a single-family office based in Boca Raton, FL (principals were the founders of the SyFy Channel, MovieTickets.com, Broadway.com, and Misfits Gaming).

With the family office, Alex helped to raise capital for the family’s media and technology businesses. He managed the family office’s relationships with venture capital firms, other global family offices, content studios, and private capital co-investment partners.

In addition, he served as a Product Manager to lead the development and launch of a mobile app for ticketing to movie theaters and Broadway shows.

Prior to working with the family office, Alex worked for Citigroup’s Private Bank in Beverly Hills, CA and J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in the NYC, Miami, and Los Angeles offices.
